The Renewable Energy Company was founded to serve the UK consumer market and is proud to be considered one of the most highly accredited renewable energy installation companies in the UK.
Whilst relatively young in our formation, our senior group is made up of highly experienced, proven industry professionals that are responsible for a little over 50,000 individual renewable energy projects across the UK. The nature of these projects span across
technology including Solar power, battery storage and heat pumps through to biomass boilers, fuel cells and wind turbines.
We are proud to be one of the 2400 MCS accredited Solar PV installers on our shores. Equally, we are proud to have matched that commitment to excellence by also obtaining MCS certification for battery storage installation. This group of companies is far smaller with less than 240 MCS approved battery storage installers in the country.
We are also members of HIES consumer code, this gives our customers complete peace of mind with third-party insurance backed warranties to cover our works. We are also proud to be listed in ‘Which’ Trusted Trader as a highly integral, honest and reliable voice within our wider industry and its community.

Alongside this company led approach to high quality standards, we are very proud of the fact that all of our staff are ‘Competent to a Qualified standard’. This is a feature point of our business and it’s prevalent through all areas of the company. From Admin and HR through to sales, installations and senior management. All of our staff are qualified in their respective roles and continued learning and personal development is expected in all areas of the business.
With this clear commitment to excellence, alongside our proven and verifiable track record of simultaneously delivering multiple projects per week. We have the perfect foundation to extend our professional expertise into commercial and civil contracts.
Furthermore, as a result of our long term understanding of our wider industry. We have refused all commercial agreements with individual manufacturers or suppliers. This ensures we are not beholden to any pre-determined agreements that would otherwise impact our abilities to offer unbiased advice and/or limited product options to our clients.
As a direct result of this choice, we have developed an incredibly robust and varied supply chain that can be relied upon in the worst of conditions. This was proven over the last year as we were able to deliver 92% of our projects on time amid the worst supply crisis our industry had ever seen.
We have a clear, well documented and self funded effort into community based projects, charitable works and social commitment. That includes investing a fixed percentage of our yearly revenue to charitable causes each year. We invest our time, resources and experience cyclically through a multitude of methods and view our social commitments as an obligatory element of our continued success.
